Using Certify66 alongside your approved course

Written for quality managers and heads of training who need to know what this platform is, what it is not, and how it is controlled before putting it in front of their students.

Regulatory status

Certify66 is an independent study aid. It is not an EASA or GCAA approved training course, it is not Part-147 approved courseware, and it does not issue licences, certificates or credits towards licence issue. It is designed to be used by students alongside your approved course, and it does not affect your approval, your instructors or your examinations.

Content authorship and review

Authored by
A working aircraft maintenance instructor. Contact us for the author's licence category, experience and current role if your procurement process requires it.
Syllabus basis
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/989 for EASA, and GCAA CAR-66 for the UAE, including the separate legislation tracks and essay requirements where the two authorities differ.
Currency
Content reflects the amendments applicable from 12 June 2024, including the revised Module 10 paper length, the Module 14 restructure, and the removal of the Module 9 and 10 essays for EASA while they are retained for GCAA.
Knowledge levels
Every examinable topic carries its EASA knowledge level, and question banks are written to that level, with Level 3 topics including applied and failure-diagnosis questions rather than recall alone.
Examination format
Mock exams are drawn at the official Appendix II question counts and time limits, use the three-option format with a 75 per cent pass mark, and randomise question and option order on every attempt.
Change control
Content is versioned in source control, and changes are recorded. Organisations on a cohort agreement are notified of material syllabus changes.

Interactive simulations

Summary notes, mind maps, question banks with explanations, timed mock exams at official lengths, and interactive simulations for the theory students most often fail: electrical and AC fundamentals, digital techniques, aerodynamics and engine cycles. Progress is reported in two dimensions, material covered and grades achieved, so a weak area is visible before the exam rather than after it.

Hosted on a managed global platform with automatic failover and continuous deployment. No scheduled downtime; updates are released without interrupting access.
Support
Email support on support@certify66.com. Cohort agreements include a named contact and an agreed response time.
Student data held
Account details (name, email), study progress and assessment results. Payment details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored by us.
Data protection
Data is held in a managed database with row-level access control, so a student can only read their own records. We do not sell data to third parties. Contact us for our current hosting region and retention periods if your procurement process requires them in writing.
Accessibility
The platform is keyboard navigable, respects reduced-motion preferences, and offers a light reading mode for study material. We have not yet completed a formal WCAG conformance audit; tell us your requirement and we will confirm what we can meet.
No cost, no commitment

Start with a cohort pilot

We would rather you evaluated this with real students than took our word for it. Run one class through one module for a term, at no cost. We agree in advance what you want to see, whether that is engagement, mock exam scores or first-time pass rate, and you decide afterwards whether it is worth a seat agreement.

Be aware of where we are honest about our limits: instructor-facing cohort dashboards and exportable result reports are in development, so during a pilot we agree the reporting you need and provide it directly.
